Ystrad Rhondda extended their lead at the top of Division Two East with a 29-6 comprehensive home victory over Championship rivals Rhydyfelin.
The trailblazers helped themselves to four tries in an excellent performance. Try machine Andy Hutchings was once again on the score sheet along with Rhys Truelove, David Gratton and Alex Webber, the latter also landing three conversions and a penalty.

Penallta capitalised on Rhydyfelin’s loss to move into second place with a try bonus 37-15 home success over Llantrisant.
Although it was in no way all one way traffic, some clinical finishing from the Pitmen’s backs saw the hosts crossing the whitewash five times, Joe Merriman and Chrissy Morgan both bagged braces with Ross Morgan also touching down. The ever reliable boot of Andre Soroko was on target with three conversions and two penalties.
The Pitmen sit eight points off Ystrad at the top with a mouth watering home clash against the pacemakers scheduled for next week.
Ynysybwl remain fourth after failing to defeat struggling Abercynon in a highly entertaining 28-28 match at the Recreation Ground.
Bwl outscored their rivals five tries to three through Ricky Thomas, Nathan Ellis, Lewis Ryan, Allan Thomas and Dale Stuckey, with Ellis also slotting over a penalty.
The visitors' three touchdowns came through Jamie Price, Dean Gunter and Sion Griffiths, with Matthew Turner in excellent form with the boot firing home three penalties and two conversions.
Meanwhile, Tylorstown narrowly came out on top 10-6 at Bedlinog with Aaron Clement going over for the only try of the match for the visitors. Fleur de Lys went down 19-13 at home to Heol y Cyw and Llantwit Fadre defeated Rhymney 18-6.
