Laura's weekend predictions

Llanharan v Bonymaen
Bony have undoubtedly struggled this year and will face a tough test against a strong Llanharan side. The Swansea outfit should take confidence in knowing that they have already defeated the Dairymen this season and will be looking to finally produce the form of last year. A lot may depend on the conditions; with such a big pack, Llanharan will thrive if conditions are heavy.
Verdict- Llanharan by 5 points
Narberth v Bridgend Athletic
The Otters, who sit four points clear at the summit, will be hoping to maintain their lead at the top and gain revenge for their early season loss at Athletic, who have not shown anything like the form they did last season.
Verdict- Narberth  by 10 points
Tata Steel v Carmarthen Athletic
The Saints will be disappointed after ending 2011 with defeat to Narberth and will be desperate to keep the heat on the pacemakers at the top with a win. Athletic on the other hand are on a three match winning streak and will be eager to pick up where they left off, leapfrogging the Saints if they win. This should be a closely fought contest but I think Tata will edge it at their Margam base.
Verdict- Tata Steel by 3 points.
Tondu v Llangennech
The Waterwheelers' New Year’s resolution must be to start turning performances into points as the basement boys look to build on their three wins so far. The new boys will no doubt be spurred on by the home support at Pandy Park but face a difficult match against the highfliers. Llangennech will be anxious not to lose ground on the top two and must start as favourites for the match.
Verdict-Llangennech by 7 points
UWIC v Whitland
This should be an intriguing battle, with both sides having held the top spot in the Division so far. And with both rekindling their top form before Christmas, it should be an entertaining encounter at Cyncoed.
Verdict UWIC by 5 points.
Waunarlwydd v Ammanford
Both teams have lost three league games on the bounce coming into this match and so will both be desperate to get 2012 off to winning ways. New boys Ammanford have acquitted themselves well in the higher Division while Waun have struggled to put a whole 80 minutes of rugby together. This will be a tight affair.
Verdict- Waunarlwydd by 3 points
