Kidwelly became the last team to book their place in the third round of the Swalec Plate, when the Division Two West side's postponed match against their lower league opposition Pontyberem at last made it to the pitch.
The Black and Ambers' class shone through as they helped themselves to five tries through Matthew Davies, Dafydd James, Gareth Rees and a Chris Moore double. Outside half Leighton Walters also produced a fine display with the boot to find the target with four penalties and two conversions.
The Three West team meanwhile were restricted to a solitary Iwan Harris touchdown and a Richard Lewis penalty.
Kidwelly’s reward is a home tie against fellow Two West outfit Aberystwyth to be played on Saturday 28January.
Meanwhile, Talywain have progressed to the fourth round of the Swalec Bowl, defeating Blaenavon 14-3 in all Four East clash.
Talywain will now host Chepstow in the next round.
