Tata Steel chipped away at Narberth’s advantage at the summit of Division One West with an emphatic 67-6 thumping of Ammanford.
The Saints sent out a message to their title rivals in helping themselves to eleven tries and blowing their rivals away in a superb second half showing.
Speedster Jordan Skidmore was the star man picking up a hat trick, with second row Cameron Davies also bagging a brace, while prop Gareth Edwards, centre Daniel Blethyn, Liam Grice, Jonathan Grigg, Simon Evans and John Phillips also went over.
Waunarlwydd pulled off the shock of the day in defeating highfliers Whitland 35-23, virtually ending any realistic hopes the Borderers had of catching the top two in the title race.
The Green and Blacks ran in four tries through Dan Fox, Andrew Rees Spowart, Daniel Moyle and captain Nathan Hart, while scrum half Lee Evans was in fine form, finding the target with three penalties and three conversions.
The Borderers, who had convincingly beaten Waun in the reverse, were outplayed in all departments and despite a mini revival at the start of the second half, they were well beaten.

Carmarthen Athletic heaped more woe on basement boys Bridgend Athletic with a 29-8 thumping at Johnstown.
Full back Mike Sauro was the star of the show for the hosts notching up 14 points through a try, a penalty and three conversions, while Luke Marshall, Owen Herbert and Jason Smith also touched down.
Bridgend could only muster a Tom Goodwin touchdown and a Tom Cole penalty in response.

Meanwhile, leaders Narberth did just enough to defeat Llangennech 16-12 in a tightly contested West Wales derby at the Lewis Lloyd Ground.
The Otters took a slender lead into the interval thanks to a penalty try and a Stuart Morris conversion, with Morris on target with three crucial second half penalties.
Llangennech will feel they should have done better after touching down through Ricky Williams and forcing a penalty try, with Williams adding the extras, but they were unable to capitalise on the hosts being down to 14 men for two ten minute spells, as Chris James and Sean Lloyd were both sent to the bin.
Finally, UWIC picked up their ninth win coming out on top 23-18 at Llanharan
The Dairymen were well on top and took an 18-10 lead into the break thanks to touchdowns from captain Nathan Huish and Nathan Rees, while Chris Williams added a conversion and fired home two penalties.
The students, however, utilised the wind after the break and added to Owen Jenkins’ and Josh Tyler’s touchdown through two further tries from Kyle Taylor and Rhys Roberts, with the latter also adding a penalty.
Meanwhile in the battle at the bottom, Bonymaen squeaked a win at Tondu, edging to a 10-9 victory.
Bony crossed for the only try of the match through Adrian Cousins, while Richard Cunniffe added the conversion and landed a crucial penalty to seal the triumph.
Paul Smithson bagged all of the Waterwheelers’ points, slotting three penalties.
