Tata Steel narrowed Narberth’s lead to four points at the top of Division One West thanks to an emphatic 43-17 drubbing of Llangennech at the Park Rugby Ground.
The Saints were in inspired form, with a hat-trick of tries from speedster Jordan Skidmore and an influential performance from Diggy Bird, who incidentally was only able to play after Llanelli’s match at Pontypool was postponed, amassed 23 points through a try, three conversions, three penalties and a drop goal. Hooker Sion Crocker also touched down to give the forwards something to cheer about.
Llangennech, who have fallen off the pace in their last few outings, struggled to get into the match and were restricted to a brace of tries from Michael Davies, with Ricky Williams adding both conversions and a penalty.

Athletic meanwhile will be disappointed with their second half performance after taking a 10-6 lead into the break. The hosts were awarded a penalty try to add to Lewis Chance’s first half touchdown with Mike Sauro adding the extras to both, as well as a penalty, but it was not enough to bag a losing bonus point.

The Borderers produced a strong first half performance, crossing the whitewash through Fraser Watson, with James Stevenson adding the conversion and landing two penalties to take a 13-3 lead into the break. Stevenson added another penalty in the second half to secure victory.
The Dairymen’s points meanwhile came through a Scott Malone touchdown with Chris Williams landing the conversion and slotting a penalty.
Bonymaen retained the ownership of the bragging rights in Swansea after doing the double over local rivals Waunarlwydd, recording their fifth win with a 20-15 triumph.
Bony outscored their rivals two tries to none, with Michael Jones and Tristan Herdman going over, while Richard Cunniffe added both conversions and two penalties.
The Green and Blacks' points all came through the boot of Jonny Davies, who stroked home five penalties.
Meanwhile, Ammanford lost out 21-18 to fellow newcomers Tondu.
The Waterwheelers crossed twice through Mark Roberts and David Griggs, while Paul Smithson was on target with three penalties and a conversion.
Elsewhere, in a low scoring encounter, there was nothing to choose between Bridgend Athletic and UWIC with the scores tied 3-3 at the whistle.
Tom Davies knocked over the penalty for the hosts, while Rhys Roberts was on target for the students.
