Harriers close gap at summit

Pill Harriers capitalised on leaders Garndiffaith's match postponement in Three East to draw level on points at the top, thanks to a 23-6 success at Brynmawr.
The Harriers crossed the whitewash three times through Dwayne Bailey, Kyle Williams and Spencer Gibson, but will be rueing not sealing a try bonus point that would have given them the overall lead at the summit.
At the other end of the table in the battle at the bottom, Croesyceiliog did just enough to see off basement boys Tredegar Ironsides.
The Cockerels' Matthew Entwhistle fired home four penalties to lead his side to only their third victory.
The Irons meanwhile had to be content with a losing bonus point thanks to three Matthew Edwards penalties.
Caerphilly registered only their fourth win with a much needed 17-3 triumph over Newport HSOB.
The Cheesemen ran in two tries through centre Gareth Johns and back row Alwyn Thomas, while fly half Matthew Minty converted both and landed a penalty.
Elsewhere, Senghenydd lost more ground in their title chase as they went down 18-12 at Risca, and Abertillery BG bagged a try bonus 26-17 triumph at Abergavenny.
