Llangennech pushed all the way by students

Pacemakers Llangennech produced a second half fight-back against UWIC in Division One West to edge to a 21-18 home triumph and maintain their supremacy at the summit.
The trailblazers left it late to bag their win, with a final minute drop goal from Aled Roberts sealing victory for the hosts, who were trailing 15-3 at the interval. Rhodri Jones and Stuart Millar both touched down, with Roberts landing one conversion and a penalty to add to Gareth Walters' first half kick.
The students will have to make do with a losing bonus point, the visitors crossed for two first half tries through Pierre Tucker and Jordan Saunders, with Rhydian Morris firing home two penalties and a conversion.
Narberth narrowed the gap on the leaders to just two points thanks to an entertaining 42-21 home triumph over Waunarlwydd.
The Otters helped themselves to five tries including braces for full back Jonathan Morgan and Tom Bonnell, with centre Steve Martin also touching down for the opening score. Nick Jones landed three conversions and three penalties while replacement Iestyn Crompton also slotted home a conversion.
The Green and Blacks were restricted to three touchdowns from second row Ceiron Davies and wings Lee Evans and Dan Fox. Outside half Jonny Davies added the extras to all three.
Bonymaen moved off the bottom thanks to a narrow 15-14 home triumph over Bridgend Athletic.
Bony crossed twice through Dan Jones and Paul Davies, with Paul Warlow landing a conversion and a penalty.
Athletic meanwhile continue to suffer on their travels, despite Lynsey Macausland touching down, and Stuart Morris and Corey Butler adding three penalties between them.
Whitland narrowly came out on top picking up a 28-25 away win over Ammanford.
The Borderers crossed for three tries through Dafydd Thomas, Mark Jones and Lee Glanville with Scoot Newton firing home three penalties and two conversions.
New boys Ammanford did manage to pick up both losing and try bonus points thanks to touchdowns from full back Wayne Price, Owen Herbert, Richard Gregg and were also awarded a penalty try. Ieaun Mainwaring added a conversion and Matthew Lemon slotted a penalty.

Meanwhile, Tata Steel picked up their eighth win with a 24-18 triumph over Tondu at their Margam base.
The Steelmen’s hero of the day was young outside half Diggy Bird who kicked all of his side’s points, firing home seven penalties and landing a well-taken drop goal.
The Waterwheelers were unable to build on last week’s victory despite running in three tries through Joey Heatley, Matthew Davis and Matthew Morgan, while Paul Smithson also slotted a penalty.
Finally, Carmarthen Athletic ground out a 19-17 home win over Llanharan.
Atheltic helped themselves to three second half tries through Scott Maynard, Gareth Bennett and Rhys Lane with Maynard also adding two conversions.
Llanharan’s points came through Scott Malore and Matthew Strong touchdowns, with Chris Williams landing a penalty and two conversions.
