Bargoed v Mountain Ash
Second placed Bargoed will be eager to keep up the pressure on pace makers, Ebbw Vale, and will see this as a prime opportunity to do so.
Verdict-Bargoed by 15 points.
Beddau v Ebbw Vale
Beddau picked up a good win last weekend and have been tough to beat at home this year, and should therefore prove a decent test for the well-organised Ebbw Vale, but I see the Steel Men’s clinical backs having just too much for the hosts.
Verdict-Ebbw Vale by 10 to 15 points.
Gilfach Goch v Rumney
Goch, who are on a six match winning streak, will be desperate to remain within close proximity of the top three. Rumney have had a mixed bag of a season so far but are definitely capable of pulling out big performances.
Verdict-Gilfach Goch by 7 points.
Glamorgan Wanderers v Newbridge
High-flying Newbridge will be eager to banish the memories of last week’s defeat by basement boys Tredegar and I think the Wanderers' suspect defence may prove just the tonic.
Verdict- Newbridge by 12 points.
Treorchy v Merthyr
Treorchy edged a tight affair last week and that should stand them in good stead for the visit of Merthyr, but with little to choose between the two sides, it could come down to a kick here or there.
Verdict- Treorchy by 3 points
Pah! Glamorgan will take those Newbridgonians by storm while they are trying to infiltrate the 'suspect' defence...
