Rhiwbina recorded their fourth win in Division Three South East with a try bonus 34-17 triumph at lowly Penarth.
The star of the show was once again wing John Hughes, who bagged a brace for the second week in a row, with James Huntley, Nick Howell and Joe Casella also crossing the whitewash. Dave Guilbert slotted three conversions and a penalty.
Relegated Penarth remain propping up the table and are still seeking their first win at this lower level.
Pacesetters St Peters maintained their great start, picking up a try bonus 37-18 home win over Tonyrefail.
The Roath side ran in four tries that included a hat-trick for Sean O’Brien.
Meanwhile, Llanishen kept up the pressure on the leaders courtesy of a 26-7 victory at Brecon.
The highfliers failed to pick up a bonus point though, thanks to a staunch Brecon defence and were restricted to three tries, with Mark Sheppard, prop Sean Dunne and flanker Ben Spicer all going over.
Elsewhere, Aberdare helped themselves to six tries in a 38-17 victory over Fairwater, in a low-scoring kick fest Dowlais narrowly came out on top at home over Pentyrch 6-3, and Nelson notched up their third win with a 25-13 victory over Gwernyfed.
