Skewen put paid to Glynneath's perfect start

Skewen finally halted the Glynneath winning machine in Division Two West, edging out the undefeated pacemakers 17-15.
The hosts crossed for two tries through Wayne Mitchell and Reece Jenkins, while Richard Davis slotted both conversions and added a penalty.
The usual free-flowing Glynneath attack failed to materialise and fell just short of maintaining their perfect start. The visitors did secure a losing bonus point, however, thanks to Jack O’Riley and Darren Evans’ touchdowns, with O’Riely also landing a conversion and a penalty.
However, fellow new boys Kenfig Hill failed to capitalise on the trail blazers slip up as they fell to a 27-24 defeat at the hands of Cwmllynfell.
Cwm recovered from their loss against Glynneath last week to run in four tries through Tristan Manning, Sam Hughes, Owen Williams and Alex Wilkins. Craig Jones slotted two conversions and a penalty.
Meanwhile, Builth Wells picked up their third win with a 53-10 home success over Kidwelly.
Builth helped themselves to eight tries through Mike Powell, Andy Garret, Richard Galea, Ben Duggan, Sam Luke Davis, Sam Gillian, Rob Lloyd and Phil Morgan, while Luke Offa collected 13 points with the boot.
Loughor notched up their fourth win in an 18-13 victory at Felinfoel, with each team picking up two yellow cards in an ill-disciplined encounter.
The Blues crossed for two tries through Michael White and Steve Wake, with Andrew Williams slotting two penalties and a conversion.
Relegated Felinfoel were restricted to a penalty try, with Rhodri Mason landing two penalties and a conversion.
Elsewhere, Crymych are still desperately searching for their first win after narrowly losing 28-25 at home to Aberystwyth and the match between Maesteg and Aberavon Quins failed to reach the field, as the Llynfi side could not field a team.
