Blues go top thanks to five star show

Haverfordwest leapt to the top of the Division Three West table thanks to a try bonus victory at Tenby United.
The Blues crossed for five tries through David Williams, Rob Evans, Ollie Reyland, Matthew Davies and Dane Pindair. Steve Williams added three conversions and also slotted a penalty.
Tenby, who have only managed to pick up one win so far, crossed for two tries through Scott Payne and Wyndham Williams, with Tom Williams landing two conversions and a penalty.
Meanwhile, Osian Williams inspired Llandeilo’s fourth win with a 23-17 victory at Pontyberem.
Williams scored all his side’s points through a brace of tries, two conversions and three penalties.
The hosts in reply did enough to secure a losing bonus point though through a penalty try, with Rhys Davies touching down and seven points from the boot of Ricky Evans.
Dunvant came out on top to notch up their third victory with a 26-17 home success over Cardigan.
The difference between the sides was the consistent boot of Adam Williams who converted both Sam Gallagher and Adam Gregory’s touchdowns, and also landed four penalties.
There was nothing to choose between the sides when Pontarddulais travelled to Newcastle Emlyn with the honours even 23-23.
With both outfits struggling, the contest was always going to be a tight affair. Each side crossed for three tries but the result means that Pontarddulais are yet to record their maiden victory.
Elsewhere, Tumble made hard work of defeating struggling Gorseinon 22-17 and the other scheduled match of the day between Penclawdd and Lampeter was postponed by mutual consent.
