They will face England in an under-20
international on the same day as the main indoor event at the National Indoor
Athletics Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Two athletes from each country compete in various
disciplines – 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 60m hurdles, long jump, triple
jump, high jump, shot put, pole vault and the 4x200m relay.
Supporters’ eyes will be on potential Olympic stars of the
future from both sides of the River Severn, but for now, national pride and
bragging rights are at stake.
