Dunvant went top of Division Three West after capitalising on former leaders Haverfordwest’s slip-up with a 26-15 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Llandeilo at Broadacre.
The hosts outscored their rivals three tries to two with touchdowns from Danny Davies, Adam Williams and Oscar Savage, while Williams was also on target with three penalties and a conversion.
The visitors could only manage two tries, one from a penalty try and the other through Harry Mostyyn while Glen Jones landed a penalty and conversion.
Penclawdd helped their promotion push with a 42-24 win over fellow highfliers Haverfordwest at the Rec.
The Donks, who moved up to third with the win, crossed for five tries through, Richard Jones, James Snell and a Luke Davies double, while Jamie Moore had a fine day with the boot notching up 17 points.
The Blues came away empty handed as they were restricted to two touchdowns through Davie Williams and Ashley Sutton, while Steve Williams fired home four penalties and a conversion.
Meanwhile, Tumble also boosted their promotion prospects with a 46-20 triumph at strugglers Pontyberem.
An excellent kicking display from Steve Hewitt guided his side to victory with a faultless kicking performance landing five penalties and converting all of his side's conversions for a personal points haul of 23 points. The Magpies looked dangerous in attack spreading the ball at every opportunity and were rewarded with four touchdowns through a Dafydd Pritchard brace, with Nicky Allinson and Chris Morris also crossing the whitewash.
Tenby United halted basement boys Pontarddulais’ mini revival with a 49-27 home win.
United helped themselves to six tries through Simon Stanford, Dan Colley, Roy Osbourne, Chris Heesom and a Toby Smith double, while Tom Lewis stroked home five conversions and three penalties.
Pontardddulais did come away with a try bonus point thanks to touchdowns from Dai Thomas, Steff Williams, Josh Scott and Jamie Thomas.
Elsewhere, Gorseinon hit visiting Newcastle Emlyn for six with a 32-18 win at the Welfare Ground.
