The Starch have enjoyed great success in the league having won all of their matches so far this season. They will be crowned champions in front of their home supporters after their home match against Pembroke RFC on Saturday 27th April.
Outside-half Josh Hamer added to his tally as top scorer for the season during the weekend’s win in West Wales and Gowerton’s top try scorer, prop Craig Thomas, added another to his fifteen tries of the campaign.
Player-Coach Gethin Lillicrap said: “We’ve got a team of home-grown talent and our first squad is a fruition of the junior and youth system here. Our back-line is made up entirely of youth products. It’s been a fantastic season for us and we’re really looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead in Division 4 next year.”
