Leaders Llandudno extended their advantage at the top of the North Wales Premier with a thumping 161 run victory over Northop.
The highfliers batted first and notched up 284-2, with Duncan Midgley (120) and Aled Williams (124) both smashing centuries.
Northop in reply were skittled for 123, with Jack Rimmington once again among the wickets capturing 6-58. Chris Brooks was the only notable performer with the bat, knocking 24.
St Asaph climbed to fourth with a 67 run victory at Bangor.
The visitors set a total of 189 thanks to Grove Venter bashing his way to a century (112) which included sixteen 4’s and one 6, David North (22) the only other contributor to note. Simon Murley 4-47 and David Hughes 3-15 were the pick of the bowlers.
Bangor narrowly slipped to victory needing only to survive two balls to hang on to a draw, but eventually succumbed for 122, David Winter top scored on 68. It was Matthew Hulse that captured the all important final wicket carding 3-30, while Jason Foulkes claimed 5-38.
Will Affleck played a starring role as Denbigh defeated Llay Welfare by five wickets.
Llay batted first but were dismissed for 100 thanks to Affleck’s five wicket haul and Stuart Griffiths who captured 3-12. John Parry was the best with the bat nothcing up 28, while Dave Phennah chipped in with 20.
Denbigh in reply comfortably chased the runs down carding 102-5, with Affleck their top scorer falling just short of a half century (49).
Elsewhere, Mochdre bagged a winning draw against Ponblyddyn.
Mochdre set a total of 157, Neil Sutcliffe was the best with the bat nothcing up 41, while Gareth Davies hit 32 and Mark Williams finished undefeated on 29. Marcel Frenzel was the most potent in attack claiming 4-37, while Glenn Chambers picked up 3-30.
Pontblyddyn in reply were 117-5. Frenzel capped off a fine all round performance with an unbeaten 36, while Phil Davies top scored on 44 before the overs ran out.
The day's other fixtures between Mold and Connah’s Quay, and the Brymbo against Menai Bridge clash, were both abandoned.
