Penlan remain top of Division Five South West as the battle for the title intensifies. The Swansea side sit one point clear at the summit thanks to a convincing 38-12 home win over Cwmtwrch.
The pacemakers helped themselves to six tries including a brace for Dominic Cambriani with Mark Hughes, Lee Banfield, Bobby Scrine and Robert Green also touching down. Luke Harris added four conversions to complete the scoreline.
Cwmtwrch meanwhile could only manage two tries through Mick Mainwaring and Keiron Ace after being comprehensively outclassed in all departments.
Elsewhere, Tycroes kept up the pressure on the leaders with an emphatic 54-0 drubbing of Baglan.
The highfliers dominated possession and crossed eight times through Stephen Ruck, Aaron Price, Stephen Roache, Tristan Morgan, Jason Williams, Grant Williams and a Dean Bronham double, while Grant Williams added six conversions and Bronham one.
Basement boys New Dock Stars notched up only their second win of the season, narrowly coming out on top at home 23-22 over Llandybie.
The strugglers ran in three tries through Jordan Evans, Dean Millard and Gareth Lee, with the latter also adding a conversion and two vital penalties.
Elsewhere, Cwmgors defeated Ystradgynlais 16-6, while Crynant’s match at Alltwen and Glais against Gowerton were postponed due to frozen pitches.
