Bulls power past Glynneath

Builth Wells produced the shock of the day when they inflicted Division Two West’s long time leaders Glynneath's only second defeat of the season, edging to a 7-3 victory. In a hard fought contest, a Steve Beeham touchdown and Rhys Lloyd conversion proved pivotal for the Bulls.

The hosts, who looked out of sorts from the start, could only manage a solitary Jack O’Reily penalty.
High flying Kenfig Hill capitalised in style to leapfrog Glynneath and move top thanks to an emphatic 60-10 home triumph over Felinfoel.

The Mules were rampant throughout, romping home 10 tries including braces for Ray Evans, Matthew Tossell and Shaun Burnell, while Steve Gillard, Jason Davies, Kyle Evans and Scott Walker also touched down.

Meanwhile, Maesteg ended their long wait for a maiden victory thanks to a close 27-23 win at Aberystwyth.

Speedster Mike Powell will be the toast of the Llynfi Valley with the wing bagging a hat-trick of touchdowns, while backrow Ryan Turner also crossed. Corey Butler landed two conversions and a penalty to clinch the victory.

Kidwelly picked up their eighth win of the season with a 40-24 home win in a highly entertaining game of two halves against Crymych.
Kidwelly Full Back Dafydd Lewis's elusive running saw him bag a brace of tries.

The Black and Ambers helped themselves to six tries all before the interval, showing off some great inter-passing play with full back Dafydd Lewis and flanker Rich Gravelle both bagging braces, while wings Chris Moore and Aaron Warren also crossed. Leighton Walters was on target with five conversions.
Kidwelly No 8 Jonathan Williams was always looking to make hard yards from the base of the scrum.

The strugglers regrouped at the break and came out firing on all cylinders and got their reward with a try bonus point thanks to first half touchdowns from wing Nick Bevan and silky centre Carwyn Phillips, while flanker Tom Powell and outside half Gareth Davies also crossed after the break.

Elsewhere, third placed Cwmllynfell notched up their eleventh victory with a 26-14 win at Skewen, while finally, the clash between Loughor and Aberavon Quins fell foul of the weather.
