Wanderers looking to gain momentum

Scrum-half Rhys Griffiths gets his first start

Glamorgan Wanderers will be eager to back up their victory over Tredegar with a good performance when they travel to Division One East trailblazers Ebbw Vale tomorrow.
“This year we have locked horns with Ebbw on a regular basis. Saturday will be a good marker of our progress in recent weeks” commented Head Coach Chris Ower.
“Our sides know each other very well and there will be few surprises, but their league position does not lie. They are in top form,” added forwards coach Matthew Bolton.
After the win against Tredegar, the Wanderers make four changes for the visit to the Eugene Cross Park.  In the backs, Rhys Griffiths gets his first start at scrum-half and Joe Sullivan joins in-form Joe Xiberras in the centre.
Up front, Carl Kimber returns at number 8 after recovering from injury and John George, who made an impact from the bench last week, starts in the second row instead of Alex Luff, while Mike Stephens replaces Sean Cochlin on the bench.
