Laura's weekend predictions

Ammanford v Whitland
There was nothing to choose between the sides when they met on the opening day of the season and I see little to separate the teams tomorrow.
Ammanford have rediscovered their early season form bagging back to back victories, while Whitland suffered a bad loss at Llangennech last week, but have also put in some impressive performances.
Verdict- Whitland by 5 points
Bonymaen v Bridgend Athletic
Basement boys Bony have had a baffling start to the season defeating highflying Llangenench a couple of weekends ago to lose the following by some distance to Ammanford. Bridgend Athletic have also had a below par start compared to last year’s high standard and have only won on the road once.
Verdict - Bonymaen by 3 points
Carmarthen Athletic v Llanharan
Carmarthen will be hoping to bag back to back wins after their victory over UWIC last weekend and arguably should have beaten Whitland the week before.
Llanharan will be eager not to lose two on the bounce.
Verdict - Carmathen Athletic by 5 points
Llangennech v UWIC
Llangennech will look to maintain their lead at the summit of Division One West but face a tricky test when UWIC visit the Park Rugby Ground.
The students, however, will be no pushovers and will be reeling after losing their last two matches.
Verdict - Llangennech by 7 points
Narberth v Waunarlwydd
The Otters have been steadily moving up the table scoring tries for fun and will be hoping to make it three wins in a row,
Waun who started the season so well have struggled of late seemingly unable to play for the whole 80 minutes, having found themselves heavily behind at the interval on a handful of occasions so far.
Verdict – Narberth by 10 points
Tata Steel v Tondu
Meanwhile, second placed Tata Steel who have a game in hand over their top of the table rivals, could themselves go into pole position if they bag a win over new boys Tondu at their Margam base.
The Waterwheelers will be buoyed by their great performance and win over Bridgend Athletic but have only won once on the road all season.
Verdict- Tata Steel by 10 points
