Colwyn Bay player Manager John Newby has appointed Stuart Barlow to be his assistant at the Blue Square North outfit.
Barlow, an ex-Everton, Tranmere and Oldham striker, will take up his post with immediate effect and his first game will be a tough test for the Seagulls as they travel to league leaders Hyde, who are unbeaten at home so far this season.
“We’re very positive going into the game. We got a good result last week and we have everything to play for. Obviously they are top of the table for good reason so it will be a good test for us” said Secretary Grant McIndoe. “Our new Manager John Newby has appointed an assistant and I’m sure the lads will be keen to put in a good performance for him.”
