Glynneath maintain advantage at the summit

Glynneath maintained their narrow lead at the summit of Division Two West courtesy of a 46-18 victory at Kidwelly.
The trailblazers helped themselves to seven tries including braces for full back Dai Evans and centre Greg Roberts, with Stuart Leach, outside half Kyle Roberts and wing Tom Venn also crossing the whitewash. Chris Felton added four conversions and a penalty.
The Black and Ambers were restricted to two tries through scrum half Matthew James and wing Aaran Warren, while outside half Leighton Walters landed two penalties and a conversion.
Second placed Kenfig Hill remain hot on their heels, putting struggling Maesteg to the sword, running out 77-5 victors.
 The Mules crossed for 13 tries with Chris Tossell and Raymond Evans both bagging hat-tricks, and Steve Gillard, Gareth Edwards, Nicky Morgan, Mark Jenkins, Ashley Hickey, Shaun Burnell and Matthew Tossell also getting in on the action.
The Llynfi Valley strugglers’ only consolation came in the form of a Karl Hocking touchdown, which was his 148th league try.
Meanwhile, Aberavon Quins notched up their sixth consecutive victory with a 34-29 home triumph over Builth Wells.
Quins ran in three tries through James Davies, Alex Condon and Nathan Flynn, while outside half Marc Shepperd was in outstanding form with the boot, firing home five penalties and slotting two conversions.
Builth did manage to bag a losing bonus point thanks to touchdowns from Ben Duggan and Jamie Healy, while John Thurston also had a fabulous day with the boot, racking up 19 points.
Loughor continue to impress this season picking up their seventh win, edging to a 15-13 victory over Skewen.
The Blues left it till the last kick of the game to secure the win with Peter Smiriglia stroking home his fourth penalty to seal the victory. Tom Davies landed a first half penalty.
The visitors scored the only try of the match through Matthew Myatt, while Richard Davies added two penalties and a conversion.
Elsewhere, Felinfoel bagged their fourth win defeating Crymych 16-7* and third placed Cwmllynfell picked up a 16-7 win at Aberystwyth.
