The St Asaph-born 30-year-old was looking for her first
professional title since the 2011 Tenerife Ladies Match Play event, but
finished tied for 24th on even par, 13 shots behind winner Karrie
Webb. She shared that position with Aussie Nikki Campbell and Maria Hernandez
of Spain.
Her second round of 69 (three under par) included six
birdies and three bogeys, with her overall total posting 11 of each.
Two other Welsh stars, Lydia Hall and Sahra Hassan, failed
to make the cut for the third round of play.
Webb’s victory was her eighth at the event, equalling the record
eight won by Sam Snead.
