The biggest talking point is the return of Cardiff striker
Craig Bellamy to the fold, with much discussion taking place in the media as to
whether the 33-year-old would continue his international career.
He had missed Wales’ opening four World Cup 2014 qualifiers
through injury.
Another long-term absentee to return is Jack Collison. His
last appearance was in the Gary Speed memorial fixture against Costa Rica
almost a year ago, and his return to the Welsh midfield is a welcome one.
Promising young Swansea left back Ben Davies will get the
chance to gain extra senior international experience, as will Huddersfield
defender Joel Lynch, both of whom made their international debuts in the second
half of 2012.
Uncapped Swansea defender Jazz Richards, on loan at Crystal
Palace, also gets a chance to show manager Chris Coleman what he can do.
