Aberystwyth Town have had one point deducted, after the FAW found Alan Morgan’s side guilty of fielding an ineligible player in their Corbetts Welsh Premier League clash at Llanelli on Saturday 8th October.
The unnamed player had not been properly registered in their 2-0 defeat at Llanelli and the sanction was imposed at the Welsh Premier League Commission held on December 15th.
The Seasiders had the right to appeal the decision but chose not to. The deduction sees Aberystwyth drop to 17 points, just four off the drop zone.
