Tovey to re-join the Dragons

Cardiff Blues can confirm that outside half Jason Tovey will be leaving the region to re-join Newport Gwent Dragons.

Tovey joined the Cardiff Blues in 2012 and made 17 appearances for the region including the Boxing Day match against the Dragons.

Jason Tovey has signed a three year contract with the Dragons and will return to Rodney Parade during pre-season training.
Talking about Jason Tovey’s departure Cardiff Blues Chief Executive, Richard Holland said,

“I would like to thank Jason for his commitment to Cardiff Blues over the last year and I would like to wish him all the best in the future.”
