Former leaders Pill Harriers suffered a shock loss in Division Three East, going down 17-5 at Pontypool United.
United outscored the visitors by two tries to one, with Mark Thorley and John Sutcliffe both crossing the whitewash. Darryl Carter added the extras to both and also fired home a penalty.
The Harriers meanwhile were restricted to a solitary touchdown from Spencer Gibson.
