Llandovery ended their superb season on a high, as they bagged the
Brains SA Cup with a clinical 68-19 win over Cwmllynfell at a sun drenched
Loughor.
Man of the Match: Llandovery's Lee Rees |
The Drovers, who had a campaign to remember in the Premiership, were far
too strong for the Division One West runners up, running 12 tries past the
lower league side who were reduced to 14 men after only 15 minutes.
Fly half Josh Archer grabbed a hat-trick and added four conversions for
a personal tally of 23 points, while Dylan Williams and Jack Roberts bagged
braces. Matthew Jacobs, Shaun Miles, Nio Aiono, Bryn Griffiths and Tom Ball
completed the scoring.
Craig Jones impressed at fly-half for Cwmllynfell |
Cwmllynfell never gave in and held their heads high right to the end,
running in some nice tries in the process, with wing Tristan Lewis crossing
twice and Dylan Loughor also going over.
