Laura's weekend predictions

Ammanford v Narberth
Pacemakers Narberth know that they need to continue to rack up the wins with second placed Tata Steel in hot pursuit, and I think they should bag their 13th victory of the season on Saturday at newcomers Ammanford. The Otters put their hosts to the sword in the reverse and it’s hard to see a different outcome this weekend, despite Ammanford being buoyed by their good win over Tata Steel in the Cup a couple of weeks ago.
Verdict-Narberth by 25 points
Bonymaen v Tata Steel
The Saints know that they must keep winning if they are to fulfill their title ambitions. The club will be on a high after being given formal confirmation of their place in the National Championship next season and although Bonymaen at home is never an easy fixture, you have to back the highfliers to come away with a victory.
Verdict-Tata Steel by 10 points
Bridgend Athletic v Llanharan
Athletic produced a shock victory in the Cup in their last outing, defeating highflying Carmarthen Athletic, and will be looking to take their knockout form into the League as they currently prop up the One West table. The Dairymen, who have struggled with injuries of late, will be back to full strength as they look to put the memories of their comprehensive loss to Newbridge in the Cup to the back of their minds.
Verdict- Llanharan by 10 points
Llangennech v Carmarthen Athletic
This West Wales derby is always a hard-fought affair and Athletic will be looking to gain revenge for their loss in the reverse earlier in the season. Since then, Llangennech have fallen off the pace somewhat after heading the table for a duration before Christmas. Only one place separates these sides in the table and I expect a close encounter at the Park Rugby Ground.
Verdict-Carmarthen Athletic by 3 points
UWIC v Waunarlwydd
The last meeting between these sides was a highly entertaining encounter with tries galore and, given the right weather conditions, another try fest could be on the cards. The students, who have produced some good performances this term, will still have their sights set on a top three finish and so must start as favourites, but Waun produced a brilliant display in their last outing, comprehensively beating Whitland at home, and the coaches will undoubtedly be demanding a repeat performance.
Verdict- UWIC by 5 points
Whitland v Tondu
The Borderers chances of catching the top two diminished significantly with their loss at Waun in the league last time out and will be eager to return to winning ways. The hosts, who comfortably won the reverse, know it will not be easy going up against a resilient Tondu side, who have acquitted themselves well in the League this season.
Verdict-Whitland by 7 points
