In his fourth year with the club, Squirrels’ flier Brett Chatwin has been appointed club captain for next season.
Chatwin raced over for two tries in the exciting Swalec Plate Final against Merthyr, to give the Ironmen a real scare, and has been in outstanding form for the Squirrels in their rise to Division One status.

Chatwin, who hails from Coventry and played for England Schools at the 16 age group, is part of the new set-up at Rhiwbina, who also welcome their experienced and respected former player Gareth MCarthy to their coaching team for next season alongside long-serving Gareth Lintern and Jared Lougher.
