Glynneath remain the team to beat
in Division One West after they hammered Carmarthen Athletic 57-18 at home to
continue their 100% start to the season.
The home side racked up eight tries
through Richard Carter, Ben Jones, Craig Moses, Josh Jones, Greg Roberts, Kier
Burrows, a penalty try and a solo effort from Jack O’Riley who also added an
extra 17-points from the boot to keep them at the summit.
Waunarlwydd remain hot on their
heels after their bonus point victory over Crymyrch.
Lee Evans was prolific with the
boot for the Green and Blacks notching up 15-points.
Kidwelly were big winners as they
put Builth Wells to the sword winning by 41-25.
Robin Davies (2), Richard Pearce,
Stu Morris, Andy Francis, Jamie Evans and Chris Davies all went over for the
Black and Ambers who travel to Llangennech next weekend.
Llangennech beat Cwmllynfell 15-5
in a tight encounter thanks in part to tries from Gareth Davies and Stuart
Fletcher.
Whitland got the better of
Ammanford away from home as they came out on top of a thrilling match which
ended 40-31.
Lee Glanville, Daf Evans, Duncan
Evans all scored with Fraser Watson going over twice for The Borderers whilst
James Tullel, Tom Rees, skipper Emyr Price, and Chris Moore all scored in vain
for the hosts.
In the remaining fixture in the
division, Kenfig Hill cruised past Loughor 37-15 with Nicky Giles scoring a
try, three conversions and two penalties to leave him with a personal tally of
17-points for the afternoon.
