The Green and Blacks scored five
tries in a rewarding afternoon through Andrew Lloyd, Jordan Clayfield, Andrew Rees-Spowart
and a double for in-form winger Alan Pope.
Following their win over Ammanford
in their previous fixture, The Borderers could only manage tries from Aidan
Loxton.
Glynneath have only been replaced
at the top as their game with Kenfig Hill was abandoned just prior to half time
due to an injury to the referee who was unable to continue.
Loughor gained their second win of
the season with a 38-24 result over Builth Wells at Villa Field.
Chris Banfield had a superb game
for the hosts as the full-back notched 23 points thanks to a try, four
penalties and three conversions.
Lawrence Headlen, Nick O’Kelly and
Steve Wake also scored for Loughor.
Kidwelly and Llangennech both
scored five tries apiece in an entertaining fixture that was eventually won
39-30 by the Black and Ambers.
Mike Sauro was the hero for
Carmarthen Athletic in their 35-15 home victory over bottom side Ammanford.
He converted his side’s five tries
with one coming from himself as well as Rhys Lewis, Owain Herbert, Evan Ellis
and Steffan Evans.
Elsewhere, Cwmllynfell narrowly
beat Crymych 21-19.
