The inaugural first round draw of the FAW’s new League Cup competition was made last Wednesday afternoon in Cardiff.
Chris Coleman, the National Team Manager, and Peter Rees, Welsh Premier League Chairman, conducted the draw with new Welsh Premier League Secretary Gwyn Derfel also in attendance.
A total of eight clubs from the Welsh League and Huws Gray Alliance make up the first round draw, with the four victorious sides guaranteed the fillet of a bumper home tie against Premier opposition in the next round.
The First round ties are due to be played in September.
