Swalec League Round Up

There were a few rearranged matches in the lower leagues with Dunvant inflicting Haverfordwest’s tenth defeat of the season in Two West with a 22-3 triumph.
Llandaff North secured the bragging rights over Llandaff with a narrow 11-8 home victory. Howell Jenkins crossed for the hosts' only try of the match, while two penalties from Daniel French proved pivotal.
Barry are up to fifth in Four South East courtesy of a bonus point success at league strugglers Penygraig. The Bombers ran in four tries through Tom Poole, Alan Evans, Danny Ryan and Rhys Hardy.
Blaengarw remain rooted to the bottom of Five South Central as they slipped to a 35-7 home loss to Treherbert.
Further west, there were big wins for Five West pacemakers Gowerton, who thumped Pembroke Dock Quins 56-0, and Bynea, who ran in six tries as they defeated Llangwm 40-19
Trefil leapt to second in Six East thanks to a convincing 29-5 home victory over Girling. Matthew Davies, Matthew Hurley, Jake Flowers and Alex Jones all crossed for the hosts.
In a low scoring encounter in Six South Central, Llandrindod Wells edged past Wick 9-5 with Jack Holden’s three penalties enough to secure victory.
Finally, Tonmawr continue their revival, albeit in Six West, as the Whitworth outfit notched up their ninth win in defeating Llansawel 41-0.
