They now trail table-toppers Bargoed by a point thanks to Nicky Thomas’ try double in a seven-score salvo with Aled Jenkins, Steff Jones, Jake Cole, Matthew Davies and Marc Bennett also crossing the whitewash.
Full-back Thomas also nailed four conversions to take his personal points haul to 18.

Bottom two clash in Welsh Premier
The bottom two in the Welsh Premier clash this evening as
Gap Connah’s Quay host Bangor City – with both sides looking to record their
first league wins of the campaign.
Both sides have taken just two points from six games so far.
Bangor tossed away a 3-1 lead in their last game – a 3-3
draw at home with Prestatyn, while the Nomads lost 3-1 at home against Rhyl.

Aizlewood Draws Balls to Determine Home Advantage in Semi Finals
Bala will
host Prestatyn and The New Saints will welcome Port Talbot to Park Hall in the Word Cup Semi Finals.
Former Wales
international and current Carmarthen Town Manager Mark Aizlewood drew the balls
out of the hat to determine which teams secured home advantage in the last four of the competition.

New Wales coach John Kear has named a 22-man squad for the 2014 Rugby League European Championships this October and November.
